Diverge High School and Middle School Summer Retreat 2021
Make your summer one to remember with a spiritual awakening the Diverge way! The world wants us to walk along their path, but the Lord calls us to Diverge our path and take the narrow road. Join us for an exciting week of fun, fellowship, and the presence of God. There will be powerful services, small groups, and incredible worship. There will also be outdoor activities, including canoeing, zip-lining, volleyball, dodge ball, Hummer rides, and more. Come and get your spirit prepared for the upcoming school year! Let this be a year that is full of victory, peace, love, and joy!
SPONSOR A STUDENT

Please prayerfully consider giving as the Lord directs you. Your gift will sow an eternal seed into the hearts of the next generation of disciples leading the world to Jesus! WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
We will gladly issue a refund for notifications at least 14 business days before the event. After that point, we will have made payments to many of our contractors, vendors, and retreat site based on the number registered. If you are within the 14-day window, please consider offering your registration to another student.
ARE SCHOLARSHIPS OR ANY TYPE OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE?
We do understand how cost can impact a family's decision for their student to attend. Financial assistance is on a need-only basis, and its availability depends on donations made to the event. We at times receive contributions to the ministry for students in need from those in the congregation. When that happens, we can then pass some assistance on to the student(s). There is no guarantee that funds will be available. When funds are available, students may receive financial assistance totaling no more than 50% of the total registration cost. This process allows us to help more families. If you are interested in applying for aid, please fill out this form.
WHEN IS MY LAST DAY TO REGISTER?
Our online registration will close on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021, at midnight. After this occurs, we will gladly accept walk-up registrations on July 5th at check-in, but we will have limited availability. For the best check-in experience, please register your child before June 30th.
WHAT ABOUT MY STUDENT'S MEDICATION?
On the day of registration, we have an onsite station to collect any prescription medication your student will need to take. During the camp, the assigned staff person will provide medication at all mealtimes and services to ensure we connected with your student. When you pick up your student, you can pick up any unused medication from the staff at that time. Medication dropped off by parents at the check-in station will only be returned to an adult.
IS THERE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CAMP?
Yes! Click here to learn more about the facilities where the camp will take place.
CAN I DROP MY STUDENT AT THE CAMPGROUND OR MEET YOU THERE?
Because of the layout and setup that we have, we will NOT be able to accommodate registrations at the campground. You will need to have your student arrive at the World Harvest Church campus to take the bus.
WHAT ARE THE LODGING ASSIGNMENTS?
All the cabins are separated by gender and age group. The high school girls will be in one room with female leaders, and the high school boys will be in one room with male leaders. The same division takes place with the middle school students.
WILL I BE ABLE TO CONTACT MY STUDENT WHILE THEY ARE THERE?
You are welcome to send your student with a cell phone that you can use to reach them while they are away; however, cell reception may be spotty. Students are encouraged to turn phones and electronic devices off during service times. Also, your student is solely responsible for all items, including items of value (cell phones, iPods, wallets, purses, etc.). We are not liable for any lost or stolen items. An emergency contact number will be provided to parents at the time of check-in.
MY STUDENT HAS SPECIAL NEEDS; CAN THEY STILL PARTICIPATE?
We love to partner with families of students with special needs for many of our church campus events. Because of the nature of the retreat, we ask that you contact us before registering your student so that we can work with you to create special arrangements.
CAN PARENTS COME?
All of our leaders have completed WHC Student leader applications, background checks (as required by World Harvest Church) and are acclimated to the culture of the student ministries. Unless you have completed this process and are a student leader at the time that we leave for the retreat, parents are not allowed to attend the High School and Middle School Retreat. If you would like to see if an exception can be made, please contact the event organizer.
IS MY REGISTRATION/TICKET TRANSFERABLE?
If you register for one student and decide to offer it to another, please let us know at least five business days before the event to allow for all of the necessary updates to take place for lodging, etc.
CAN I UPDATE MY REGISTRATION INFORMATION?
Yes. Please contact the organizer with the updated information at least five business days before the event.
